Planning your dream honeymoon.
As your honeymoon will probably be one of the single most expensive elements of your wedding, it's essential that you both get exactly what you want. This is one holiday you don't want to be disappointed with.
Firstly, it's important to choose a honeymoon destination a that's either completely new to both of you or somewhere you've been together before and have special memories of. If only one of you has been there, especially if it was with an ex-partner, then you'll only end up comparing it to your last visit and that's the last thing you're loved one wants to hear about sitting on the bed at your honeymoon hotel.
Many Grooms enjoy planning the honeymoon as a surprise for their new wife - you just need to ensure that's its a pleasant surprise!
Chat about the kind of honeymoon you both want , such as hot sunshine versus snow, a sightseeing packed tour or just lazing on the beach all day, doing nothing more strenuous than sipping Pina Coladas. If any specialist packing is required you'll need to be prepared to give at least a few hints away.
Popular honeymoon destinations like Italy and the Caribbean always get booked up really quickly, so its a good idea that once you've arranged a date for your wedding you start arranging your honeymoon. The earlier you book, the more choice you'll have when it comes to picking your destination.
Once you've booked your honeymoon, find out about any injections and inoculations you'll need. Allow yourselves plenty of time as some injections call for you to have several booster jabs over a period of time.
Finally, think about what you can do to make your honeymoon a really memorable one.
Try to set up a few surprises for your partner like planning and unusual excursion or arranging a candlelit dinner for two on the beach, something that you and your partner will always remember.
